From humongous yellow coated flowerpots mounted on wooden stands to more intricately designed terracotta pots swaying from beams ahead, each piece tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and artistic expression. The process involves:
- Clay Preparation: Locally sourced clay is sieved and soaked to achieve the right consistency.
- Shaping: Artisans skilfully mold the clay by hand and spin it into shape.
- Drying and Firing: The shaped items are dried and then fired up in traditional mud ovens, turning them into durable works of art.
- Finishing Touches: Some pieces are left in their natural terracotta hue, while others are painted and decorated, ready to bless homes near and far.
